Wahl is a good home brand. It's a pretty good model, not quite as powerful or sharp as the corded versions I've had. If you're an experienced barber, the blades aren't quite sharp enough to get a really clean fade. On the plus, it's quiet and it's cordless which makes the experience much easier. Definitely recommend switching to cordless, but perhaps a stronger model. Updated: only after a few uses, the model is not really usable cordless as the power significantly dies off. I find that I have to leave it plugged in while using which defeats the purpose. Also the sharpness of the blades didn't up. Overall: Do Not recommend this product.
