I love SOG. I have their NSP edition folding knife and it is awesome. This took doors not live up to their reputation. I bought it to keep in the car for camping, and took it out on a bike ride to give it a quick test run. I planned to dig a small pit like for a camp fire, then fill it in. I got as far as 12x12x8 in soft soil that I could have dug with a rock or stick. Just this little bit was enough to bend the blade of the tool, so that it was at an angle front to back. A little more digging and it started to bend left to right. I bent it back with my hands. I tried setting it up at a 90deg angle, like a home. This worked for a bit, then it bent again. I gave up, pushed the tiny bit of dirt back in my pitiful pit, and packed it up to return. I willbuy another one and this time not ignore the reviews in favor of a reputation. This has me rethinking the SOG tomohawk that I had my eye on or future knives. So disappointed.
