Thought this would works for us, but it has an isothiozolinone derivative
Sounded like a great product based on reviews, but I failed to look at the complete ingredient list before purchasing!! I didn't see the benzisothiazolinone (BIT) listed until after I received the product. I and members of my family are sensitive to isothiazolinones. Puracy calls it "a biodegradable preservative," which is true, but according to the EPA it's a possible human sensitizer, toxicant or allergen and the European Union classifies it as an irritant. The Dow Chemical Company and its global affiliates produce BIT by a complex and proprietary series of chemical reactions and separations, according to Dow's own literature. I think the "natural" label is used liberally with this product. Still looking for a good dish soap without isothiazolinone or its derivatives.
