Scam batteries
Please see last two paragraphs for actual tested numbers.
Beware! Nothing but a scam!! When I purchased these originally they were just called '3100mah' < ASIN: B00D19N8J2 . At the moment I'm charging them up, because I forgot the exact numbers, but I know they'll be abysmal. I'll edit this review when they're 'charged'.
I wanted to be noted as a 'verified' buyer, but Acuvar is not giving me this option. VIA past orders I am not givin this option to click on 'Write a Preview', that box is simply not there. I see 'Verified Purchase' for B00D19N8J2 is on the latest reviews. Maybe I waited to long, but earlier orders of mine are still giving me this option. My orders page says I purchased them last Aug 18th. I wasn't going to bother with a review, but I found a single 3100mah that I forgot to recycle as this brand is useless, now I'm all fired up again. Sorry about all the quote tags, nature of the product I guess.
I wish I'd kept the extra card and pamphlet that came with these PoC batteries. Both said to please give this product 5 stars as it will help to keep people with families employed. In exchange they said I'd get a free gift. And what's with that free microfiber cloth, LOL.
Why does is this brand getting as high stars as it is? I can only guess people want to believe they are getting there money's worth. More likely the employees are loading it up with positive reviews too, and to be Verified they are purchasing their own product. Hey Dudes please give my review a 'Helpful' like so that others will see it. The fake review employees are going to try and make sure you don't. Say I'm helpful and I'll send you a free gift. I guarantee those words, LOL. Either way a Yes or NO vote will help raise the alarm. I'd very much like to start a conversation regarding this terrible product. Please leave a comment.
Seriously, I wish Amazon.com Inc would police products like this better. Is there a way to get admins to take note of these brands who scam, is there a process I'm not aware of? Let me know please. Buyer Beware, even when shopping at this website. They're too big to care about the leeching scam companies that attach themselves to Amazon.
edit - now in edit I can change it to Verified.
Addendum - I got a new Opus BT-2000 charger and 'charge tested' three virgin batteries that had not yet made it to a recycling center - they came out with 1179, 1244, and 1313 mAh's - not even half of the manufacturer/seller's claims. I see no point in cycling them 2-3 times for slightly better levels. These Amazon approved cons have wasted enough of my time already.
I attempted to re-edit this last Dec 20 before leaving for the holidays, but Amazon's security hoops finked out on me. If you can read this then the re-edit took and I didn't rage quit courtesy of Amazon admin protocols or I saved the text and whacked the Zon mole till it stopped being fussy.
