I knew from the beginning with a ridiculous, prolonged description of EVERY SINGLE BITE taken at lunch, minutely defining each chomp as interspersed with remarks, that this book wouldn't be good - quickly covered it and it is worse than I thought it would be., The protagonist is as unsympathetic as I have encountered, with a terrible non-standard of ethics both professional and personal. Sketchy, implausible plot, truly substandard. The lie is that this is in any way a book worth reading.
