Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I purchased this vacuum in March of 2016 and the brush has stopped working. It rotates and then doesn't, for no apparent reason. I have read several other reviews that talk about the same problem. Hoping that this was a common issue, I thought I would call Shark and see if they could send a replacement part or something. After all, part of the reason I purchased this was because of the 5-year warranty. Unfortunately, also like other reviewers experiences, Shark was unwilling to help resolve this issue. I thought that I would be protected with a 5-year warranty, but they want me to ship the entire unit to them for a cost of approximately $80. I only paid around $130 to begin with. What a waste of money. DO NOT buy a Shark. This is the second Shark brand product I have owned and they have both been awful.
