I thought this was going to a reasonably quiet and useful unit for my kids bathroom. No matter how cold it is, they refuse to let me put the heater fan on. In fact, they scream. And, I don't really blame them. It is anything but smooth and sounds out of balance, surging and groaning. I opened it to see if it was not installed properly or was making improper contact with something, but it just appears to be that deafeningly loud. I'd like to get a replacement heater fan from Broan, but this unit only carries a one-year warranty and this is our first winter with it. Turn your volume up all the way and play my video and you will have an idea of your warm, relaxing bath.
