Buyer beware. This unit only performed as advertised for the first four months. Then my troubles really started when I tried to work with Chaney Instruments. They evidently don't want to honor their warranty. Every time I called them I got little or no service and long waits, no call backs at the time I asked for or any other time. The unit is now offered at prices of 50% off what I paid. High winds affect the rain gauge immediately and at 4 months the temperature didn't record properly. All it shows is -40 degrees.
