There are many good things about this watch: small size makes it less intrusive and the battery life is great, making it easy to wear 24/7. The heart rate (HR) numbers are accurate when you are not moving. But, the HR readings are completely wrong when running --shows my running HR as either 20 or more than 400 which is impossible. The pulse oxymeter works sporadically, and has never worked for the whole night. I called Garmin about these issues but there was an hour long wait. So, I left my number for callback. Nobody called back! Twice! Lot of issues with syncing the watch with the phone, takes quite a while sometimes shows everything as empty! Eventually I get hold of someone. They ask me to pay for a new, replacement device that they will ship me and refund me the cost when I send the faulty device back. I did all of that. No new device appears for several days. So, I call them again. Takes for ever to reach anyone (40+ minute wait). Turns out, the device was not shipped at all! I ask to speak to the supervisor, but I am told the supervisor has already gone home (in the afternoon) so I can't! Overall, pretty abysmal experience with the watch and customer care. ------------------ Update on December 28 The customer care finally called me and asked what were the problems. The person was very rude. He dismissed all of my concerns as either a) that is not a serious problem or b) that is a known issue and they are working on it! ---------------- Update January 7 New device arrived and I used it for two weeks. Still, no pulseoxymeter reading at all! Other small glitches too. Called them several times, each time the call wait time is 30-40 minutes, and got through only once. The representative said there is nothing they can do about these problems! Further, they won't refund me the faulty device I sent back to them because they can't find it!!! So, now I am charged for two devices, none work. This is really bad.
