This monstrosity of a device has on more than one occasion decided to swallow up large chunks of my wife's hair. In the past she has been able to unravel the hair that is been stuck in the machine but this time it went too far, it took us about 20 minutes to get the large chunk of hair out of the machine that was continuously cooking the hair. Thankfully we thought fast and unplug the machine before it did more damage. In the end, she ended up getting the hair out but she was missing a significant amount of it and the hair that she was left with was badly damaged. The machine is a cool concept, but it simply fails too often and i'm sure that most women feel the same way about their hair… It's not anything that is worth risking losing a bunch of it. She has owned this for over a year now and although sometimes she has been able to curl her hair quick and easily, I wouldn't recommend this machine at all. Please see the attached pictures
