I grew up on the franchise last many. I was 7 when the first Star Wars came out and have loved it since then. I had the action figures, the vehicles, the books with the Records (that's right...RECORDs). I knew every word that was said. The music was life... But now.... where should I start... I was so excited for this movie, but it a total DUD! Sorry Rian Johnson, but you didn't do right by George and all of us who have kept this franchise alive. Including all of the new fans that came from the last two movies (which I liked). There is too much jumping around and not enough DEPTH to storylines that started with the last movie (Snook, Rey's parents [what a freaking let down!!], etc.,) Rian made the movie he wanted (I read somewhere he emphasized that) and the studios wanted. He thinks he made 1.3B+ because it was really a great movie...naw... Disney made that off the back of the franchise. Off the back of our LOVE for the Star Wars Universe. Keep making stuff like this and Star Wars will no longer be ICONIC... it will be just another Netflix movie.
