Bought this toaster oven for all the various features that saves me from wanting to purchase different items, air fryer, dehydrator, toaster, etc. It's just me and heating up an entire oven just for one piece of chicken or a single burrito is too much of a waste. I have baked chicken pieces, a Cornish hen, air fried fries among other options. The unit works well. Most of the settings are present at the start so I rarely have to modify heat or time. The LCD view screen is backlit easy to read. On the door are easy to understand inside on where to place rack for toast, roast, bake, etc. Flipping over the rack either raises or lowers your item to a more direct level. Cleaning.... Is a pain. Unless you clean it after each time you cook this nonstick surface fails. The manufacturer states to clean with soapy soft cloth not to use abrasives or harsh cleaners. Not to touch the quartz hearing elements. Well folks unless you clean with great precision there is no way to miss the elements. They like the bars on either side, I assume protecting the elements) get all the spatter grease, oils, etc all over them. They are on bottom and on top of the oven. I have not figured out how to clean them properly to get the baked on oils/grease off them. This is not an easy clean up unit. Only thing easy is cleaning the door. Fyi...you can use a Teflon shelf cover but that will only protect the bottom elements, the top is still open to spatter. Update: down grading due to the fact that clean up in NOT easy. I have been trying for weeks now to clean up the smattering from cooking Cornish hens I made the first week. I have tried dawn, vinegar, a bio cleaner, magic sponges, etc. Nothing is working. If you buy this, and it is great for all major of cooking, be aware that cook as much as you can in cooking bags. Screw the * don't use aluminium foil * use it! It heats up just like a pan would. Things cook fine using foil. The only thing easier to clean is the pizza (round) pan. I'm darn near close to grabbing a spray on retail oven cleaner. Living with vertigo I cannot stand up for long periods of time.
