Poor quality material construction
The mat top cover is made of very poor quality brittle material. I bought this for use in my kitchen. The top layer started cracking within six months of infrequent use. After a few more months, the top layer has started to peel off and every day we need to clean up the small black fragments that break from the top layer of the mat. I do have a fatigue mat in my office that I use for six to eight hours every day and there have been no issues with it for the past >2 years of use.
