Too trendy, too much about paint!
This magazine was much better when it first came out, with lots of variety and new ideas. Now it's mostly about paint colors and painting beautiful old pieces of furniture in bright colors. Really, it's like a contest in how shocking your color choice can be. So many advertisements, for paint products and more overpriced things people don't need. The one thing that's interesting is to see how much money some people spend even when they think they're saving money, in The High/Low List (why spend $399 for a log side table when you can get one for $99?) Maybe I just don't get it.
