Makes an OK coffee coaster
Not sure if this product sucks or my expectations are too high, but it probably sucks. This is the first portable blue-tooth speaker I've tried. I have an iPhone 6 streaming premium Pandora via blue tooth. Listening to this speaker makes me upset. I will admit I am an audiophile, I have a high end home theater system, high end head phones and high end car audio. Maybe I'm jaded; but for $130 I expected something that sounds better than my 8 year old laptop speakers with some extra bass. This thing is terrible. I bought this based on reviews.. which leads me to believe that maybe no one here cares about even half way decent audio quality, my unit might be defective and/or my journey to find a decent sounding portable blue-tooth speaker is going to be a huge let down. It's got the "Bose" name, seems rugged and was easy to set up so I was very excited at first. If you don't care about audio quality in the least then this should be great for you. Speakers generally have a burn in period and sound much better in time.. I'm pretty confident that won't happen in this case. It's like expecting a 90s civic with paper speakers to burn in. I guess I'll be trying some more expensive units or giving up on this type of product.
