I was so excited for this board. It was adorable and I couldn’t wait to get it. It got here pretty quick (thanks amazon prime). The box was HUGE but the board it’s self is pretty big so that was to be expected. I fell in love from the moment I saw the board. I could not wait to take it out and ride it. And that was my downfall. I should have waited, I should have made sure it was ready to ride. In the product details it clearly states the board is assembled and ready to ride. Unfortunately the trucks were loose and as soon as I got on the board and started to go forward I lost balance and fell. This wasn’t just a fall that I could get up from. I fractured my foot in 6 places, tore a ligament, and separated my foot from my ankle. I wasn’t even on the board for 10 min and I was on a flat surface. I should not have hurt myself the way I did. I should have known better. The trucks were making noise the second I got on the board and that right there should have been a red flag. I should have waited and adjusted the trucks before hand but since the description literally said it was ready to ride I thought it would be ok. Regardless it’s a beautiful board and I’m sad I will never be able to ride it again due to the extent of damage in my foot. If you decide to order one especially for your child or anyone in general I reccomend you take it to a board shop and have them check it and help you get it adjusted before your ride it. This has literally ruined the next few months for me. I’m supposed to move out of state in four months, and I can’t even travel to look at places, I can’t work, I’m stuck in bed rest, and I’m in excruciating pain. Lesson learned.
