I don't think these are worth the price. I love my main Vitamix blender. These cups though are too fiddly to use. As other reviewers have noted, if the base isn't on _exactly_ right the blender won't recognize it and work. There have been multiple times I've tried to blend something in the cups, the blender doesn't recognize the cups and so refuses to run, so I give up and throw everything in the big blender pitcher. The only time I can consistently get the blender to recognize the cups is when I'm cleaning them. Unfortunately, more often that not I'm cleaning them because I've given up and used the big blender. When they have worked, they're very fiddly. Lots of taking the cup off, shaking it, putting it on the blender again, and seeing whether the blender will recognize the cups on the next attempt. If often doesn't. I really don't understand how something as wonderful as the main blender is associated with something as worthless as these cups.
