My daughter got these Hunter boots last November for her birthday... The entire outside matte finish layer is completely delaminating. For boots that cost this much, I would expect something more a lot more durable. While the company has a one year warranty, they told me to contact the retailer with a receipt (which I don't have). THis company should stand behind their products, when it is a CLEAR manufacturing or design defect. UPDATE: my daughter really wanted another pair of these, so a naive relative bought them for her as a gift. Same exact problem after about a year... clearly a design defect! They still keep out water, but they look like a snake shedding its skin.
