Where is the negative star review option when you need it. This is a great little blower & vacuum! The problem is, that like many other people, the bag is very poorly designed. I purchased mine less than 2 months ago and it already broke. I tried to call in to their customer support, but they are only available Monday-Friday 8-5 Easter Time. For someone on the west coast, that is a very bad statement! I then decided to put a customer service request on-line--I completed it and waited 3 days, but didn't hear anything. I was off work today, so I decided to call their customer service department--although the employee that helped me was not rude, she was very dis-interested in a resolution. Once I explained to her what happened, she said that she can send me a new collection bag & that it would be about 30 dollars. Seeing as I bought the entire item for less than 50, that is not something that I was prepared to hear. I told her that I would like to speak to a supervisor, but she told me that the bag was not covered by the warranty as it is considered a wear & tear item. I could understand that if the bags were made of paper, but these bags are a major component of a vacuum & should not fail within 2 months, or even at all. I have purchased every one of the greenworks products for my yard because of the "stellar warranty". It is easy to offer an extended warranty when you simply exclude everything that could go primarily go wrong on your product. I will tell you that I will never purchase another Greenworks product--the lady on the phone never let me speak to her supervisor, she just told me that she spoke to him and he made an exception...they are shipping me a new bag, but it will take 2-3 business weeks to arrive--it is quite obvious that Greenworks does not live up to their reputation that they have tried to build in their brand...what a shame.
