I've only had this a few weeks. My experience with Calphalon over the years has been excellent. I have a Unison slide 8" pan which is maybe 8 or 9 years old and still cooks great, though it is beginning to lose bits of itself into the food as non-stick does over time. My brand new 8" signature pan (which cooks well, don't get me wrong) already has a set of four deep scratches in the non-stick surface. We only make eggs in this thing, and it is supposed to accept metal utensils anyway. I should point out I am a pretty experienced cook, so I don't expect miracles, but likewise, I don't brutalize my non-stick equipment. I don't know whether this was some kid of quality foul up or what. The 10" is fine, but of course, the egg pan will see a lot more use. One star supposedly means I hate it, but I don't hate it, I am just deeply disappointed. I was planning to buy the deep saute pan from this line next, but now I don't think I can trust it.
