The Boom 3 wants you to launch the app every time you connect to the Boom 3. The vast majority of the time you dont want or need to open the app. The problem is that the boom 3 intrusively pauses music to remind you enable the app and it remains on pause after the reminder It would be that big of an inconvenience if it reminded you immediately. It waits a good 15-20 seconds before reminding you and pausing the music, however That means you are half way across the room or busy doing an activity when you have to go back, unlock your phone and start the music again..... It doesnt seem like a major flaw but its enough of an aggravation that I want to toss it in the trash every time it happens. I cant stand it when a manufacturer pesters you to activate a useless app and if you dont, they penalize/bother you. I would go back to the Bose unit I have it wasnt on its death bed...Will not buy another Boom device.
