★★☆☆☆
Gave me one of the worst breakouts I've ever had.
I use Dickinson's witch hazel usually, with great results, and I'd heard such great things about this stuff that I had to try it.
I'm including these ugly, embarrassing pictures and the best picture I have of what my skin normally looks like (btw I was wearing very minimal makeup in that picture).
I have oily/combination, somewhat acne-prone skin.
Each time I used this, it made my face feel sensitive and tender, and would leave my face flushed pink for several minutes after. I thought my skin was just adjusting, and I toughed it out for a little over 2 weeks.
2 weeks was all I could handle. As you can see, my skin looks horrid. I got several painful, deep bumps from using this toner. I switched back to my regular witch hazel, and began using aspirin masks and spot treatments which always work like a charm for my breakouts.
Well, except for this time.
The breakout has persisted days after discontinuing use. The worst spot on my face is literally about a week old and it still hasn't gone away.
I'm almost certain I've used every ingredient listed before without issue, except maybe the fragrance, but even then this is not a normal reaction for my skin.
I guess, if you use this, and it makes your skin flush and feel sensitive like mine did, proceed with extreme caution.
