I always considered Fluke a top of the line test equip . I have been in the electrical business for over 40 years . I ordered my T6-1000 and it took about a month to get . Even though I am not a field electrician but a business owner I like having a tester with me for the times I need to be hands on . What surprised me the most in trying it out on our test bench is in the field sense position I get readings all over the place and sometimes get a zero voltage reading when I know for a fact its a energized circuit . I also get crazy reading of over 300 volts when I know the circuit is 110 volts . More importantly what really concerns me is a young apprentice using this tester and working on a circuit that he doesn't know if its energized or not because of the false readings . I also get a strap in the box with no magnet and being told the magnet is a $40.00 accessory after spending over $250.00 for the tester . My intention is to return this tester . I expected more from Fluke . This tester needed more factory testing before it hit the market .
