My experience is quite different than a lot of people. My unit worked fine through most of the first summer. When springtime came around this year even with the cooler temps , when a moderately warm day. low 80's came around it would work fine for a couple of hours then proceed to ice up. Our installer came several times putting freon in , checking all of those hoses for leaks and pretty much every other thing he could think of. Never go it running right. So he called the manufacturer and was told that the unit of mine was meant for a smaller area. My installer, who has been in the business for several years diagreed with them saying my unit could handle the area cooled and them some. Now I am stuck with a pretty looking unit that won't do it's job as the manufacturer will not stand by it's product Pioneer sucks !
