Unlike the majority of reviews on the KingPad K100, mine was purchased at listed price without any incentives. This will provide any customers interested with a true honest opinion. Let's compare this tablet to one in a similar price range, the Fusion 5 with the same size screen. The Fusion 5 is $15 USD more and I own both tablets. The 1366 x 768 screen requires no zooming for videos such as Band of Brothers, Strike Back, etc. Both the Fusion 5 and the KingPad have decent screens. Good sharpness and contrast. Stay away from the smart color on both. This will introduce digital noise in the shadow areas. Now it's time to expose fiction from reality. The KingPad stutters on normal tasks. Not all the time, but it does far more then the Fusion 5. If you download small apps you will probably not notice the download speed. However if your downloading a video of let's say 500MB, well the KingPad is twice as slow as the Fusion 5. The battery life is better on the KingPad compared to the Fusion 5, but again, Houston we have problems. With the Fusion 5, I can connect it to an external battery power pack for extended hours and hours of use. Once the battery juice is down on the KingPad you better be by an AC outlet. It has it's own unique power supply, far different from what's common in today's tablets. Sound and cameras are pretty much the same on both the KingPad and Fusion 5. I rated the Fusion 5 at 4 stars and worth your money. The KingPad, I would rate at 2 1/2 stars and you make the decision. For watching videos, like I do, the KingPad is fine. Anything else, your money is better spent on a more expensive tablet..... Well the KingPad is a prime example of you get what you pay for. This tablet has a severe problem of freezing. The issue is with systems. It tends to freeze and slow down when your checking storage. The more you put in storage the slower it becomes. With a little over 2GB remaining, this KingPad just freezes up for around 20 to 30 seconds. Then you find yourself on the home screen with a warning notice. Systems has failed. Since I do like to stream line my computers and tablets, I did a factory reset without shutting down Apps that I do not use. The same problem occurred when I had a little over 2GB remaining. I own 7 tablets and this is the first tablet that has this problem. My initial rating was 2 1/2 stars, which now has been downgraded to 2 stars. Honest opinions and reviews for a free product are nothing but a joke.....
