It'll blow your stove top!
It's a beautiful quality kettle, but, only after you read the fine print in the manual do you learn that you cannot leave it on a hot glass stove top, or the bottom surface coating/paint will separate and bond with the glass top and literally ruin your stove top. Really KitchenAid? It's a tea kettle! You would think that a KitchenAid engineer could figure out a solution and make this $70! investment worthwhile. This should clearly be cautioned in the Amazon promo before we buy it or have to shell out the cash for a new stove top.
