Ive used this about 10 times since purchasing it. This time I put whiskey in it on Friday morning for a short trip out of town. I refilled it again on Saturday afternoon. I drank all but about 1 ounce of whiskey. When I returned home on Monday I dumped the remaining 1 ounce into a white bowl because the product description warned not to leave alcohol in longer than 3 days and some reviews had indicated there was discoloration of the liquid after 3 days so I wanted to see how mine fared. I couldn't believe when I saw the almost black whiskey. It wasn't that the liquid itself turned black but rather it was laden with what looked like nearly microscopic black sediment as if it leached into the liquid via chemical reaction. I am choosing to discontinue using mine because it simply cannot be safe.
