When we installed this in February 2012 I wasn't sure we would ever need it. Then came the big power outage starting 6.29.12 and we were so glad we had installed the generator--until it failed. You expect emergency equipment to be reliable when you need it or what good is it? I have spoken to Generac 5 times, and they gave me many numbers in the Washington area to call. No one could take the ticket because they were too full with other broken Generac generators. The dealer who installed it says it is a bad design and the air mixer box breaks, but there are no replacements to be had. I am very disappointed. Buy a different generator.
