Initially I was impressed with how solid this spinner seemed when I un-boxed it, and I thought maybe it was worth the rather steep price. However, I encountered two issues. First, the lever that "locks" the pump got stuck (re-engaged) every time I pushed down on the pump, so I had to stop and disengage the lock lever before I could push the pump again. Second, the spinner simply can't spin fast enough to sufficiently dry the greens. No amount of pumping gets the basket going any faster as it seems to have a max speed of too slow. The greens were still very visibly damp after several rounds of spinning. I will be returning this Oxo Salad Spinner, and looking for a different one.
