My bedroom feels and smells better since I installed this. I run it day and night. I need to buy a few more. I have another type of air cleaner in the room but it didn't do as good a job as this one. Update June 2017 - Well I have used this air purifier in my bedroom for about a year. First the blue light lasted only about a month then went out. I purchased a new light which never worked, very flimsy wiring and very difficult to install. A few days ago I was taking a nap when I heard this weird high pitch noise which woke me up. Then started smelling smoke. It was this air purifier, it smelled like it was burning up. THANK GOODNESS I was home or who knows my entire house could have burned up. I must say I have had may other air purifiers that are less expensive that have lasted for many years using them daily. This one lasted for about 1 and cost 2x what the others cost. It did a good job for about the first month with the UV light but then it was just a regular air purifier. I will never buy another one of these. Will go back to the cheaper and much better performing air purifiers I have in the house. Unfortunately I recently bought the larger version of GermGuardian hopefully that one won't burn up too. I guess I will have to make sure it is turned off when I leave the house. Don't want my fur babies to die in a fire.
