The case looks great, fitting the Pixel very well. The textures on the back, including the carbon fiber-look insert, are very nice touches. The case is surprisingly slick, so it can be difficult to hold at times. The slickness and smooth edges do make a comfortable hold, though. The (big) downside here is the protection to the phone. As you can see in the picture I have attached, the lip where the screen meets the glass is severely lacking in protection. If it were to take impact, the lip of the case provides little impact to the edge of the glass which is a must to protect. This was only a 24" drop and the glass became cracked throughout the right side of the glass, making me question how much the case actually did to lessen the blow. The Pixel 3 may be fragile, so you will definitely want to get a more robust case that protects the edges of the phone. This is NOT the rugged armor you are looking for.
