I got this to replace my Nest doorbell camera as I thought it would work better with Alexa. But it has a lot of problems. The video quality is poor and the sunlight really blows out the image. I could not get the camera to steam to more than one device (Alexa Echo show and iphone for example) at the same time. The second device would not connect and just gave an error message. Had to take extra steps to connect through blink. Amazon owns blink, why can't I just use it directly? This should all be part of the alexa app. I was expecting that if someone rings the doorbell the video would be displayed on my alexa devices automatically. It does not. It does not appear you can save footage to both the cloud and the sync 2 module at the same time. I don't see an option to schedule quiet time to prevent the doorbell from ringing (like at night or for example if you have a sleeping baby.) Also, the max drive capacity you can use on the sync 2 module is 256 gb, and if you try to use a larger drive it ignores the drive entirely. The volume on the speaker is also too low. Sadly the nest doorbell cam (first generation) might be hanging around a bit longer.
