Amazon is now blocking specific side-loaded apps from third party developers. I bought this to use as a Kodi box and used a program called Firestarter as an alternative launcher for ease of use. Before the latest update, I have been extremely happy with the ability of customization. Amazon has forced users to update the firmware that allows them to block whatever they want, all to try and force viewers into looking at their advertised content. This is the epitome of a corporation trying to squash any creativity from small developers, and force feeding viewers what Amazon wants to see. With the start of this censuring and the blocking of letting me use my Fire TV how I want to, I wouldn't be surprised if this review disappears shortly.
