This product looks very much like the real thing. The only visible difference I could find between this product and the stock battery received with Samsung Galaxy S4 is that on the stock battery one can find: Made in Japan Assembled in China while on this battery one would find: Made in China Assembled in China This does not look like much of s difference but this battery would last for about 40% the load the stock batter can take. I guess if you want to use it as a real spare battery that will stay charged and used only when your stock battery has died - it might be ok. If you expect to use use it as equivalent replacement to your stock battery - it will not work. It should have been noted someplace that although the image of the battery looks exactly the same as the stock battery it is not the same and that it will not perform the same either.
