I bought this item for $99. I was surprised to see one of the removable under plate before the wire basket is made of Aluminum. Just one time in the dishwasher and it has become black. When I am spending $99 for this item, the least the manufacturer could have done is to provide a stainless steel under place which is easy to clean. Current plate is impossible to clean no matter how many times I put it in the dishwasher or use a scrub to scrub it. The money consumers are paying for this appliance, they should at least get a stainless steel plate . I wish I had read the reviews before buying this product. Also entire product is made of very thin cheap stainless steel sheet. Worst cusinenart product ever, Do not buy this product- It is a total junk. After just few weeks, it stopped working now.
