Significant quality/durability issues (buyer beware not worth $100)
Overpriced, fell apart in less than two months (see below for details).
I have been jumping rope for about two years. Two months ago I got convinced that I should buy this rope because it must be better than my cheap jump ropes...once the Crossrope was received I concluded it was slightly better than my cheap jump ropes, double unders and crosses are little easier. However, the Crossrope literally fell apart after only 50 hours logged. This is unacceptable, especially at this very premium $100 price point. Is the rope a little better than the cheap ones. Yes, maybe 5%. However, the price point 500%+ more than comparable alternatives which hold up much better from my experience.
Maybe Crossrope designs the ropes to break so you keep giving them money for new ropes. However, I bet it is just Crossrope Management being greedy and not making a quality product as opposed to planned obsolescence...
FYI: when I started jumping rope I bought a $10 rope on Amazon which is still going strong after 250+ hours logged.
