This thing is AWESOME! Seriously, we got one for a very dusty office location (that I clean!) and this thing has helped tremendously! To give an idea, I used to dust the office, and literally 2-3 days later it looked as if nothing had been cleaned in months. We also like to keep the front door open a lot so I'm sure that doesn't help. Anyway, after we got this guy, I can pretty much stretch it out to almost 2 weeks! I'm not joking! It really helped that much. We are ordering another one for our apartment because if it works like this in the shop, I can't image the wonders it will do just for the air in our home. I also is cute and attractive and is pretty much the statement piece and talking point of our office! Everyone is intrigued by it. But the thing actually works, and that's the point! UPDATED 1/19/2018: I really liked this product, while it lasted. I don't know why, but it seems the motor has worn out after about 8 months. To give a baseline - we use this in a 12x12 shop that gets very dusty. It runs pretty consistently M-F from about 9am - 5pm. It gets turned off every night and refilled in the morning. The rainmate wasn't super-expensive, but I did expect it to last longer than a year. Two years would've made me happy, but to slowly start making "rough running motor noises (?)" after 6 months and completely crapping out less than 2 months later fully warrants replacing a five star review with a one star review. 5 stars because the product works, 1 star because it doesn't run for long!
