After reading the synopsis I assumed this book was a lighthearted easy to read fun novel. Had I known her best friend is diagnosed with cancer and that's what mostly the book is about, I would not have purchased it. Those of us who have lost someone to cancer and made that journey in real time, don't want to read about it in detail. I skipped as much of it as I could to get to the ending but that didn't make me feel any better. I feel the book description is misleading, instead of being lighthearted it's pretty depressing in places. And the ending, ugh!
