Since what people want in a pillow is so varied and from reading reviews it looks like what is manufactured isn't at all consistent, I'm not sure if this will help or not. The ones I got were so soft that they immediately compressed with any weight as if they didn't have anything in them. The stuffing sort of moves out of the way of the weight rather than cushioning it. If you laid on your back, your head would be bed level with just the pillow cases between you and the matress. Because the stuffing shifts out of the way of weight, the pillow popped up around your ears/face in a weirdly comical but sort of suffocating way. I immediately put them back in the box and sent them back for a refund.
