Disappointed!
I love the movie and the first part of the book. However, when I started the second part, I had to go back to check that the character, Poppy, was really a girl. A girl who was continually thinking about dating/crushing on another girl. To say that this book is totally inappropriate for a young audience is stating it mildly. First, this is staged in a high school setting with young teens. Second, the original movie/book focused on the story of the Sanderson sisters. Which is what I wish the second part had done. I am really shocked that Disney would put their name on this book. I am really sorry that I bought this book and will probably burn it rather than let my preteen grandchildren read it. Shame on the author for ruining such an enjoyable movie and book by writing the garbage in the second part.
