Unless you are a rocket engineer, I would avoid this item. I tried everything. I read the directions step by step. Again and again. What this thing does is, after you set it to, let’s say 400° it heats up. THEN when it’s hot, it drops back to 350°. OVER AND OVER. AND if you want it to bake for 45 minutes, for instance, after it preheats, it reverts to15 minutes! And there is a Start/Pause button so you better remember to push Start again if you want to pause it. And it’s so fancy you can stage (cook) your food in steps but I couldn’t understand what the hell it was talking about. If you’re making toast, which I finally did, you better stand there and make sure it doesn’t burn because that’s one time it doesn’t shutoff. I tried everything and now I’m done I’m returning this. TOO. COMPLICATED
