My 20 year old parrot started to take this toy apart. Yesterday morning I mentioned to a friend that I was going to take that out of his cage and I didn't. He had pulled some of the strings and wood off and some of the wood had splintered- about 7 pm last night he was in distress and I didn't know what to do - within about 30 minutes my boy died - I am sure he got a piece of that wood and it punchered something vital. During the day he was happy, talking and his death was sudden, and obviously painful. The soft wood in those toys will splinter and splinters are dangerous. I just received an order of his food from Amazon which I will find someone that has a parrot in lieu of trying to ship it back. Don't sell that toy to bird owners.
