Needlessly complex.
I truly believe Amazon cripples the ability to read epub books on their Kindle. There's not one good epub reader in Amazon's app selections.
Take this mess called M-Reader for example. For God's sake you have to name your bookmarks rather than just click and save, then you have to use arrows to turn pages instead of touching anywhere on the right of the screen.
