I bought this for my 85 year old Mother who likes to have some sound going where ever she goes in the house. Initially we both thought the radio was great. Mother is not great with technology but I programmed the presets and she was happy with it. But recently Mother found that the radio would just stop playing and display a large "E" on the amber screen. The only way to get it to play again was to remove and replace the batteries. And then it would stop again a few minutes later. I could find nothing in the manual to explain this... Not even to say what the "E" meant. I also tried contacting Sangean customer support by phone and email and never tog anywhere.
