Poor support, crotch strap doesn't adjust, head flops to the side
When laying baby in the swing naturally, the crotch strap is not high enough to buckle the harness. In order to do so, I must scoot the baby upward into an unnatural position. By "unnatural," I mean the the baby's bottom is higher than the curvature of the seat, and his head is unsupported. He wants to fall back down into the swing where his body naturally is supported. However, when he does this after being buckled, the crotch strap digs into his diaper. This is causing blowout diapers out the leg holes. It also cannot be comfortable or good for a baby to have the weight of his body supported by the crotch. If I could adjust the crotch strap to come up higher, this problem would be solved, but it is not adjustable at all. Also, there is no head support. His head falls sideways. I needed a rolled up blanket to keep his head in an upright position. I wanted to like this swing, and otherwise I do. But first and foremost it must support baby's body and head, and it does not. For that reason, I do not recommend this swing, and I will be returning it. ***Edited to add: I have no idea why the pictures are loading sideways. They are correct on my phone and on my computer, but turn when uploaded to Amazon. Sorry about that.***
