Save your money. There are so many bugs in this product that it will frustrate the hell out of you, especially If you’re someone like me that just wants to upload his 600 CDs and have the info automatically cataloged and sorted. Uploading to this device isn't effortless...it’s frustrating and requires someone that’s comfortable working with technical glitches. Here’s what I had to deal with: 1) the firmware was out of date when it arrived so the devise couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi nor the CD library database. 2) the Wi-Fi dongle couldn’t maintain a connection (when I read the Q&A’s on the manufacturers website I found that it’s been a manufacturing issue for over 5 years). 3) most of my compilation CD’s from TimeLife (most made in the 80’s &90’s) couldn’t not be found in the CDDB library that this B2 connects to. (But customer services assured me that I can ‘manually type in all the information’. But why would I want to pay all this money just to manually enter data?) I get the feeling the manufacturers of this devise cut corners on a few things (the Wi-Fi dongle & access to a second rate data base library) just so they could turn a profit. I know My old PowerMac could find information on ANY CD I inserted even if it was a homemade CD. And that was back in 1990,s. So why cant this Brennan B2 find these CDs information? As I write this my devise is still giving me troubles when I try to load CDs. It still cannot find the CDs info even if it’s single artist. And not a compilation. I did manage to find a temporary ‘work around’. If I turn off the B2 and then turn it back on, sometimes it finds the CDs info...but not always. It still couldn’t find info for one of my new Blue Oyster Cult CDs even when I tried the on/off process 3 times. Since I’m past the refund period I’m gonna check the Brennan website for a firmware update. But, if my original suspicion, (of this being a ‘cut corners’ type of company) are correct then there won’t be any update. They got my money and it’s past the refund time so I'm stuck trying to make this work. But I always have the option to ‘manually enter all the CD information’....
