Installed it in our 2nd story garage in our vacation rental. Tested worked fine. A couple of months later we get a call from our neighbor. Water is pouring out of our garage! Water had entered the walls and the first floor. What a mess. So here's what's wrong with the unit the drain hose has a reducer on the hose side so when pressure builds up it can break away from the softener spraying gallons of water everywhere. If your lucky it will stop in an hour but if it triggers the GFI it will just keep dumping hundreds of gallon water into your house.
