Save yourself some time and hassle by reading this if you are just a cord-cutter.
What you need to know:
This is not a free opportunity to watch NFL Football for anyone! And it's not even a paid opportunity to watch NFL football unless you CAN'T get Direct TV and/or you are not in a market where NFL Football is broadcast. In other words, you can download this application for free but you have to first sign up for NFL Sunday Ticket at a cost of $49 per month (minimum) but only if you fit extremely narrow parameters set by the NFL and Direct TV.
Apparently, the NFL and Direct TV don't make enough money with the 2 hours of commercials they put in every 3 hour game....
