The first thing you notice is that the inner layer is a sheet of PLASTIC! The blanket makes a loud crinkly sound, like bubble wrap or a plastic tarp. The inner plastic layer cannot breathe. You will be bathed in sweat, and wrapped in electricity. Finally, the outer cover is cheap and flimsy. To give an example, there is a label you are supposed to remove before use. When you pull the label off, half the blanket fibers come out, too! There are TWO power supply the size of a toaster. Genuinely eight times bigger than my laptop power supply. Look at the photo I uploaded. The two power supplies are huge! I already have two Sunbeam warming blankets.They are too small for my bed, but they are a nice weight, soft and high quality. No plastic inner layer. No giant power supplies. I just assumed all electric blankets were like that. I am so disappointed in Amazon for selling something so shabby. If you could feel this thing first, you would never buy it and certainly never pay this much money. I am returning this in the morning.
