I bought this Greenworks Chain saw back in September 2018... I purchased it Via Amazon, the selling vendor was Kitchen Dazzle , LLC...I only used about 4 times since I purchased it... Last time I tries to use it was on August 10, 2020... But the battery was dead.. I tried another Greenworks battery from my Greenworks tree trimmer, and the chain saw worked fine... I tried changing the dead battery on both chargers... But It would take a charge... Both battery chargers worked fine... It’s the battery for my Greenworks chain saw that is defective... I called Greenworks in Canada... BUT .. Even though the battery was under warranty... GREENWORKS, WOULD NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY... Greenworks told me... Even though I did buy the chain saw from Amazon, The vendor “Kitchen Dazzle LLC “ That was selling the Greenworks chain saw via Amazon... Is NOT AN AUTHORIZED GREENWORKS DEALER... There GREENWORKS wouldn’t honor the warranty... So NOW... I have a Greenworks chain saw , that I cannot use because of a DEFECTIVE battery.... That Greenworks...WILL NOT REPLACE, EVEN THOUGH THE WARRANTY IS STILL IN VALID... MY ONLY choice is to buy a NEW Battery from Greenworks for $ 55.00 + tax + delivery charges.... or Throw the WHOLE Greenworks chain saw in the garbage.... This so crazy... I learned my lesson... FROM NOW ON....ANYTHING I BUY ON AMAZON... I WILL FIND OUT FIRST ... WHO THE SELLING VENDOR IS.... TO SEE IF THEY ARE AN AUTHORIZED DEALER , TO BE SELLING THAT PRODUCT... BEFORE I PURCHASE ANYTHING ELSE ON AMAZON.... I AM TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH AMAZON... TRUST ME ... I WILL BE BLASTING THIS ON FACEBOOK AND EVERY OTHER PLACES THAT I CAN.... BEWARE Of What and WHOM YOU buy ANY PRODUCT on AMAZON.... I WILL BE POSTING THIS ON FACEBOOK... SO NONE OF MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS ARE SHAFTED BY ... AMAZON OR GREENWORKS BATTERY OPERATED POWER TOOLS.... Have a Nice Day .....
